Kim Jong-un set “combat tasks” for the People’s Army, military industry, and civil defense regarding “further accelerating the improvement of preparations for war.”
The DPRK military must be ready in case of an unexpected situation to “calm down” the whole of South Korea. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said this on Saturday, December 30, the country’s Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA) reported.
“The People’s Army must strictly monitor and manage the rapidly changing security situation on the Korean Peninsula.” Kim told Chen Eun.
He added that the military industry should increase the production of weapons.
Let’s recall that the United States has previously warned that the use of nuclear weapons by the DPRK would lead to the “end of the regime” of Kim Jong-un. The North Korean leader responded that “Pyongyang will not hesitate to launch a nuclear strike in the event of enemy provocations.”
