Restrictions were introduced due to the fact that Russians use Ukrainian documents under other names.
President Vladimir Zelensky implemented the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against six citizens of the Russian Federation. This was stated in the decree of the head of state, published on Saturday, December 30.
It was noted that sanctions were introduced due to the fact that they use Ukrainian documents in other names.
Penalties are introduced against:
-
Burkin Egor Vasilyevich, a citizen of the Russian Federation, can use documents issued in the name of Levchenko Egor Vasilyevich, including a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad;
-
Amirkhanyan Andrey Abramovich, a citizen of the Russian Federation, can use documents addressed to Lemishko Andrey Abramovich, in particular, a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad ;
-
Artem Aleksandrovich Gradopoltsev, a citizen of the Russian Federation, received a refugee certificate in Ukraine;
-
Klipov Denis Ivanovich, a citizen of the Russian Federation, received a refugee certificate in Ukraine;
-

Safikhanov Albert Minulovich, a citizen of the Russian Federation, uses the documents of a citizen of Ukraine in the name of Budaev Robert Radikovich, in particular, he has a passport of a citizen of Ukraine and a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel in another country.
The National Security and Defense Council instructed the Cabinet of Ministers, the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine to ensure the implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of the sanctions. And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must inform the competent authorities of the European Union, the United States and other states about the application of sanctions and raise with them the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures.
Let’s recall that a week ago, Vladimir Zelensky introduced two more decisions of the National Security and Defense Council on the introduction of economic sanctions. They are concerned about collaborators and companies in temporarily occupied territories.
And in early December, Zelensky adopted new sanctions against Russia. Restrictions were introduced against 185 foreigners, mostly citizens of the Russian Federation. The list also includes 181 companies registered in Russia.
