North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has ordered the army, the munitions industry and the nuclear weapons sector to speed up preparations for war. This was reported by Reuters on Thursday, December 28.

According to Kim Jong-un, Pyongyang will expand strategic cooperation with “anti-imperialist independent” countries. In particular, North Korea is deepening ties with Russia as Washington accuses Pyongyang of providing military equipment to Moscow for use in the war in Ukraine, while Russia provides technical support to help North Korea expand its its military capability.
