In the Kyiv region, from December 28, 2023 to January 6, 2024, counter-sabotage and security measures are intensified – the number of checkpoints will increase, places where people gather are also subject to inspection: shopping centers, supermarkets, train stations, medical institutions, etc.

The corresponding decision was made at the Kiev Region Defense Council. The press service of the Kyiv OVA reported this on December 28.
It is noted that such work will also contribute to search measures – according to the police, more than 11 thousand people are wanted due to criminal and administrative offenses.
We ask every resident of the Kiev region and guests of the region to be understanding about security measures and possible traffic stops at checkpoints. We remind you of the need to have identification documents, notes the OVA.
The events will be carried out with the participation of the SBU, the National Police, the National Guard and the 114th separate terrorist defense brigade.
Be carefull! If you see that someone is taking photos or video recordings of defense or critical infrastructure, report it to law enforcement, the OVA notes.
