Thanks to a powerful hacker attack, clients of the Russian service cannot use it and work at full capacity. The Russian economy thus suffered millions of losses. The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine announced this on December 27 in Telegram.
It is noted that the 1C-Rarus service is used by 150 thousand users, including technology giants and war sponsors Tatneft and the Russian VTB bank. Russian customers in stores and gas stations are unable to make payments because the cash register is not working.
Let us recall that on December 12, hackers from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense attacked the tax system of the Russian Federation and were able to control the Internet traffic of tax data throughout the entire aggressor country. Ukrainian cyber specialists infected this system with malicious software.
And at the end of November, the hacker group BLACKJACK, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, carried out an attack on the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia and gained access to a large number of documents. In total, more than 100 terabytes of data were downloaded.
