The administration of US President Joe Biden today, June 15, will announce the provision of additional military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $ 650 million. This was reported by Bloomberg, sources cited.
It was noted that the new assistance would include the supply of Harpoon anti-ship missiles.
According to publication sources, the weapons package also includes:

$ 55 million for thermal night vision optics;

$ 160 million for training.
The information about providing military assistance came after a call by Ukrainian officials to speed up the supply of weapons to counter Russia’s gradual advance.
Earlier, the Office of the President said that Ukraine needs thousands of units of military equipment – howitzers, MLRS, armored vehicles and drones.
