The smallest number of trucks passes through Yagodin – Dorogusk. In the past 24 hours, only 150 vehicles crossed the border there in both directions.
About 4,100 trucks are stuck at the border between Poland and Ukraine. This was announced by the representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andrey Demchenko, on Monday, December 25, during a telethon.
According to him, three checkpoints are being blocked now. At the same time, a checkpoint began to operate.
“The Shegini checkpoint was unblocked last morning,” he said.
“Fortunately, this happened, because in fact, since November 27, this direction has been blocked around the clock. And in the past 24 hours, we have noticed that the number of cargo vehicles crossing the border has increased significantly. But three directions remain blocked – Yagodin – Dorogusk, Krakovets – Korchova, Rava “Russian – Grebennoye,” Demchenko added.
He also noted that some truck traffic goes through the Krakovets checkpoint.
Demchenko pointed out that the smallest number of trucks passes through Yagodin – Dorogusk.
“It is noteworthy that in the last 24 hours, only 150 vehicles have crossed the border there in both directions, although the capacity is 1,200-1,400 trucks,” he said.
We remind you that this week Polish truckers, after a short break, resumed blocking the checkpoint in Doroguska. According to the Polish Customs Service, on Saturday the wait at the crossing was 77 hours.
As you know, at the end of November, Polish farmers joined the blockade of carriers at the Ukrainian border. They plan to protest until January 3.
