The settlements from which all the residents left are located in the Novoslobodskaya, Belopolskaya, Krasnopolskaya, Shalyginskaya and Esmanskaya communities. They were subjected to constant shelling from the Russian Federation. This was reported by Obshchestvennoe on December 24 with reference to the Sumy OVA.
The evacuation extends to a 5-kilometer zone, which includes 15 communities in four districts of the Sumy region. 12 thousand 689 people live there, of which 712 are children. As of early December, 679 people were known to have been evacuated, including 679 children. They moved to other communities in the region.
As you know, after the start of a full-scale invasion, a significant territory of the Sumy region found itself under Russian occupation, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces drove the enemy out of the region. After this, the aggressor country constantly shells the border areas and uses sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
Let us recall that at the beginning of December, the Russian invaders announced the evacuation of civilians in the territory of the temporarily occupied Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region. It is unknown where the enemy plans to evacuate civilians. However, during past evacuations, Ukrainians found themselves in the most depressed areas of the Russian Federation.
