The Russian aggressors dealt a massive blow to Kherson. Several fires started to attack the city, local authorities said on Saturday, December 23.
“At about 18.00, the Russian invaders launched a massive attack on Kherson,” wrote the head of the military administration of the city of Kherson, Roman Mrochko, in Telegram.
According to him, strong explosions occurred in some areas of the city, then several fires occurred.
“Traditionally the enemy attacked residential areas,” he added.
In turn, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, reported on Telegram that the critical infrastructure of Kherson was damaged.
“There was an explosion in the gas networks. A fire broke out. One of the medical institutions was also on fire,” he said.
It was previously known that the Russians attacked the central part of Kherson with drones. Then two people were injured.
Police also showed a video of a suicide attack at a hospital near Kherson.
