The destruction of three Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers was a brilliant operation by the Ukrainian military. The Speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuri Ignat, said this in a telethon on Friday, December 22.
“Once again, the operation to destroy the enemy approaching our state was very well planned… This time there were three planes in the south direction at the same time, this has not happened for a long time. The Su-34 is has not long been included in our positive statistics,” said Ignat.
According to him, the Su-34 is one of the newest Russian aircraft, and the Russians continue to produce them. From them the enemy often attacks with bombs and missiles.
“I think such a machine can cost at least $50 million. This is the lowest price, fighters are aviation complexes, a very technological thing,” the spokesman added.
Meanwhile, journalist Andrei Tsaplienko published a photo from the crash site of the Su-34. Judging by the photos, at least one crew was evacuated.
Earlier on Friday, Air Force Commander Nikolai Oleshchuk said that our defenders shot down three Russian Su-34 aircraft in a southerly direction. It happened at noon today. Oleschuk did not disclose details of the operation.
We remind you that tonight the Air Defense Forces eliminated 24 out of 28 suicide bombers of the enemy.
