At Kaluga airport, in connection with the appearance of a UAV in the sky over the region on the afternoon of December 22, the “Carpet” plan was introduced. Aircraft departures and arrivals are delayed. Airplanes in flight were redirected to alternate airfields. This was stated by the governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, as reported by propaganda publications RBC and RIA Novosti.
He also said that in the Dzerzhinsky region the air defense allegedly shot down a drone. Traditionally for a dictatorship, “there are no casualties and no destruction of infrastructure.”
In the Moscow region they also announced the alleged downing of a UAV.
Let us remind you that on the morning of December 22, an unidentified drone was recorded over the city of Bataysk in the Rostov region. The Russian authorities could not come up with anything other than to say that they “know nothing” about UAV flights.
