It was the third drone strike on the capital in the past six days. Enemy drones tried to hit the infrastructure of the city and residential buildings. The Kiev City State Administration reported this on Telegram.
As mayor Vitaliy Klitschko noted on Telegram, as a result of the attack, partial destruction of two residential buildings was recorded – a high-rise building in the Solomensky district and a private unfinished house in the Darnitsky district.
In the Solomensky district, the load-bearing walls between the 24th, 25th and 26th floors of a high-rise building were partially destroyed. A fire broke out in one of the quickly liquidated apartments. Two people were injured, one resident was hospitalized, and the second was treated on the spot.
And in the Darnitsky district, an unfinished house caught fire due to falling UAV debris. There were no casualties.
It was loud in the Kyiv region too. The regional military administration reported that the air raid lasted almost 2.5 hours. In one of the regions of the region, three private houses were damaged as a result of falling debris. Fortunately, no one was hurt. There were no hits on critical infrastructure either.
Let us remind you that on the night of December 21, air defense operated in 12 regions. The sky defenders managed to shoot down 34 of the 35 enemy attack UAVs launched.
