On the night of December 22, the occupiers launched 28 Shahed-type attack drones from the areas of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia and Chauda in the occupied Crimea. Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.
The Ukrainian military managed to shoot down 24 suicide bombers. They were landed within the Kyiv, Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Zhytomyr, Rivne and Khmelnytsky regions.
Let us remind you that the attack of Russian “Shaheds” on Kyiv occurred on Friday night, December 22. It was the third drone strike on the capital in the past six days.
