Kim Jong Un said the launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles showed the high mobility of the armed forces and their ability to attack quickly.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said Pyongyang would not hesitate to launch a nuclear strike in the event of an enemy provocation. It was reported by Reuters.
He made the remarks during a meeting with soldiers from the Army’s Missile Command about a recent intercontinental ballistic missile launch exercise.
“The decisive military activities carried out are a clear explanation of the offensive counter mode and the evolution of the DPRK’s nuclear strategy and doctrine in order not to interfere with even a nuclear attack when the enemy provokes it with nuclear weapons,” said Kim Jong Un.
According to him, the launch of intercontinental ballistic missiles demonstrated the high mobility of the armed forces and the ability to attack quickly.
The DPRK leader called for efforts to further improve their fighting capabilities.
Let’s remember that on the morning of December 18, North Korea launched a long-range intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) towards the Sea of Japan. This came hours after Pyongyang test-fired a short-range ICBM in the same direction late on December 17.
As reported, the United States told Pyongyang that the use of nuclear weapons would lead to the “end of the regime” of Kim Jong-un.
