In the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, a Russian ammunition depot is on fire. In this case, the explosion of the shells took some time. This was announced on Facebook on Tuesday, June 14, by the deputy of the regional council, adviser to the head of the military administration of the Kherson region, Serhiy Khlan.
He stressed that the composition of ammunition and the center for the repair of equipment of Russian troops in Nova Kakhovka were destroyed by the forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“There was very good news from Novaya Kakhovka – it flew into the depot of enemy ammunition. The explosion lasted for several hours,” the deputy wrote.
At the same time, eyewitnesses filmed a thick column of dark smoke rising above the city. In separate videos, the sounds of bullets exploding were heard.
