Soldiers of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine received two such armored cars, developed by Kharkov designers. The head of the Kharkov OVA Oleg Sinegubov and local deputies handed over the equipment to the military. This is an important strengthening of reconnaissance performing tasks on the line of combat with the Russian occupiers. This was reported on the GUR website on December 18.
It is noted that Dozor-B can accommodate a group of up to 11 military personnel – a combat vehicle commander, driver, gunner and up to eight armed paratroopers. The armored cars are equipped with a 12.7 mm caliber unit and a 30 mm automatic grenade launcher.
The vehicle is equipped with video cameras and thermal imaging optics, which allows it to detect the enemy and conduct targeted fire around the clock. A night vision device is also installed.
The Dozor’s armor can withstand hits from a 7.62mm ball, and the bottom has improved mine protection.
Let us remind you that the government of South Korea transferred 10 mine clearance vehicles manufactured by the Croatian company DOK-ING to the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations. This equipment will be used by the State Emergency Service units involved in the process of demining de-occupied Ukrainian territories.
