The army of the Russian Federation has increased the number of attacks on the Zaporozhye region.

The enemy has shelled 21 settlements over the past 24 hours and this morning. During this time, the occupiers carried out 174 strikes, although in recent days they limited themselves to 60-75 strikes. The Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration announced this on December 17 in Telegram.
The Russians carried out nine attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on Gulyai-Polye, Poltavka, Malaya Tokmachka, Robotiny and Maly Shcherbaki. And enemy UAVs attacked Gulyaypole, Zheleznodorozhnoe, Malaya Tokmachka, Robotino, Novodarovka, Belogorye, Levadnoye, Krasnoye, Volshebnoye, Gulyaypolye and Malye Shcherbaki 36 times.
Russian artillery hit frontline Orekhov, Novodanilovka, Novoandreevka, Preobrazhensky, Levadny, Robotinoy, Stepnoy, Plavny, Lobovoy and Pyatikhatki 129 times.
In Gulyai-Polye, local residents were injured due to Russian attacks. A 55-year-old woman and a 73-year-old man were taken to the hospital. A social infrastructure facility was also damaged.
Let us remind you that on the night of December 16, Ukrainian defenders shot down 16 UAVs in the southern regions. One of the fired drones fell on a private residential building in the Odessa region and exploded. As a result, one person died.
