The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold defense in the OSGV Tavria zone. During the day, the invaders lost 576 military personnel and 57 pieces of equipment.
Russian troops continue active infantry attacks in the zone of the operational-strategic group of Tavria troops and increase the activity of artillery units. The commander of the OSGV, Alexander Tarnavsky, announced this on December 17.
He noted that the enemy was bringing in armored vehicles and aircraft to support the infantry. In the past 24 hours, the invaders have carried out one missile and 13 air strikes, and carried out 1,044 artillery attacks. In total, 55 military clashes took place in the OSGV Tavria operational zone.
“Our soldiers continue to hold the defense and conduct active operations in several directions. The total losses of the invaders yesterday, compared to the previous day, increased significantly – 576 manpower and 57 pieces of equipment. In particular, five tanks, seven armored fighting vehicles, eight artillery systems and ten vehicles,” emphasized the commander.
We remind you that since the beginning of the war, the Russian Federation has lost more than 346 thousand military personnel in Ukraine. Specifically, 1,250 occupiers have been liquidated in the past 24 hours.
According to the morning report of the General Staff, the Defense Forces have repelled dozens of attacks in six directions of the front. The enemy is most active in the direction of Avdeevsky.
