In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks near Sinkovka, Kharkov region and Stelmakhovka, Luhansk region. And in the Liman direction, in the Serebryansky forestry area of the Lugansk region and east of Ternov, Donetsk region, six enemy attacks were stopped. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for December 17.

Another 12 attacks were repulsed in the Bakhmut direction, because the enemy tried to advance near Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky, Kleshchievka and Andreevka in the Donetsk region. And in the Avdeevsky direction, 17 attacks of the occupiers were repulsed east of Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoy, Avdeevka and another 13 attacks in the Nevelsky and Pervomaisky districts of the Donetsk region.

In Marinka, Pobeda and Novomikhailovka in the Maryinsky direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 12 attacks by Russians. The enemy was also advancing in the Zaporozhye direction – the Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks west of Novopokrovka and Robotiny, Zaporozhye region.

And in the Melitopol direction, the Russians inflict damage on the invaders in manpower and equipment and exhaust them along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper and are conducting a counter-battery fight.

Yesterday, Air Force aviation carried out strikes on 21 areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. And missile force units hit seven areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, a command post, two air defense systems, 13 artillery pieces, two trains of enemy ammunition and fuel and lubricants.

Let us remind you that the German newspaper Bild reported that Ukraine changed its strategy, abandoning its priority in reconquering the occupied territories. It is noted that now the priority is to destroy as many Russian soldiers as possible with minimal losses in the Ukrainian army.
