In the Lviv region on Saturday, December 16, a fatal accident occurred in which employees of the State Special Transport Service died, the press service of the department reported.
“At about 2:30 pm, during a work trip in the Lviv region, as a result of an accident, the deputy head of the administration of the State Special Transport Service, Colonel Viktor Mikhailovich Zhigunov, Lieutenant Colonel Vasily Viktorovich Kravets, soldier Dmitry Grigoryevich Sologub and citizen Natalya Ivanovna Dubrovskaya died,” the message said.
The publication ZAXID.NET, citing information from law enforcement agencies, added that the accident occurred at about 14:30 on the Kyiv-Chop highway in the village of Smozhe. There, a Volvo truck and a Ford Focus passenger car with military plates collided. It is known that four people died in the accident – they died before the ambulance arrived.
