Intelligence spokesman Andrei Chernyak said the Kremlin had been talking about its plans for several years, but could not implement them.
Russian invaders will continue attempts to conquer new Ukrainian territories. However, the enemy could not execute the plans to take control of the major cities. This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate Andrey Chernyak in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine, published on Friday, December 15.
The enemy has plans to capture the cities of Ukraine before, and he will try to capture new ones if the opportunity arises.
“However, according to our estimates, they do not have enough strength to occupy our cities. Human resources are one thing, but work and maintenance require more than mobilized inexperienced personnel of military,” the intelligence representative emphasized.
Chernyak recalled that the Kremlin had been talking about its ambitious goals for several years, but none of them had been achieved. However, when trying to achieve something, Russia will continue to sacrifice human resources.
“Yes, in Moscow they don’t count people, but they count money. They have enough financial resources for the war until 2025. And then we’ll see,” he said.
Let’s remember that we previously wrote that the President of Russia Vladimir Putin lied about the number of troops occupying the territory of Ukraine.
