The German government today, December 14, updated the list of weapons that have already been transferred to Ukraine. In particular, it includes the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system with missiles. This is also the second such air defense system that the Ukrainian Armed Forces received from their German allies. This is discussed on the website of the German Ministry of Defense.
Also included in the new package are nine Bandvagn 206 tracked all-terrain vehicles, three unmanned mine clearance vehicles, eight Mercedes-Benz Zetros trucks, four 8×8 HX81 tractor trailers, eight Zetros tractors. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 7 thousand 390 artillery ammunition of 155 mm caliber, 14 drone detection systems and more than 47 thousand rounds of 40 mm caliber grenade launchers.
Let us recall that on December 13, Norway promised to transfer additional air defense equipment to Ukraine, as well as allocate more than NOK 3 billion to support critical government services. Denmark has accepted a new support package for Ukraine worth one billion euros. The Ukrainian army will receive weapons and ammunition from the Danes.
