Nine UAV ammunition was approved for use in the army. These are multi-purpose, combined actions, high-explosive fragmentation and cumulative fragmentation actions. In addition, four more types of ammunition for under-barrel grenade launchers were approved. All these weapons are developed by domestic enterprises. Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrilyuk spoke about this in a commentary to ArmyInform.
Tests of several samples of FPV type ammunition, a 120-mm grenade launcher, an anti-personnel hand grenade, and a domestically produced mine trawl have also been completed. In addition, new models of Ukrainian machine guns will be tested.
According to Gavrilyuk, 15 types of military equipment and weapons have been codified, including a robotic ground strike system, a 40-mm automatic grenade launcher, tactical means of radio jamming of loitering ammunition and seven unmanned aerial systems of various modifications.
Let us remind you that Germany promised Ukraine to transfer about 200 thousand NATO caliber shells in 2024. Currently, German industry is increasing the production of these ammunition.
