In Russia on December 14 there is a press conference and a “direct line” of Vladimir Putin.

This is the Russian dictator’s first major press conference since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
He has already been asked about when the war in Ukraine and mobilization in Russia will end. This is what he replied:
There will be peace when we achieve our goals.
Putin claims that the goals of the North Military District have not changed. He again mentioned “denazification”, “demilitarization” and the neutral status of Ukraine. He once again called Russians and Ukrainians “the only people”, and Odessa – “a Russian city”.
He again managed to talk about the “Nazi” Bandera, the fascists in Kyiv and “pumping Ukraine with foreign weapons.” He also complains that “Ukraine brings everything for free” – both tanks and air defense. He admits that the West gave Ukraine everything it promised, even more, and also almost cries with resentment – even the vaunted partners do not voluntarily offer him any help.
About the possibility of a second wave of mobilization, the path responded as follows:
Today this is not necessary.
However, Putin did not answer the question of whether those mobilized last year would be demobilized. Also on the screen in the hall was a question for him because of the SMS:
Why is your reality different from our reality?
There was no answer.
Last year, amid the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, the Kremlin did not hold a press conference.
During Putin’s conference, a large screen was placed in the hall, where questions from Russians were displayed.
And this is where things get interesting.
Russians ask, for example, the following:
Why does Russia on TV not match reality at all? When will the war in Ukraine end? Why does roaming turn on when crossing the Crimean Bridge? How should “SVO” end?
They also ask about psychological assistance to the relatives of deceased war participants, gas in Russia, “who will be the president of Russia after you?”, and also about “why are there no benefits for those who served in the Wagner PPK?”
