The elected Prime Minister of Poland admitted in a briefing that he may meet with the President of Ukraine on Thursday, December 14.
The newly elected Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk on Wednesday, December 13, at a briefing in Brussels, suggested that his meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky could take place on Thursday morning, December 14. This was reported by tvn24.
He noted that the Ukrainian side proposed a meeting on Thursday morning.
“The technical details have been agreed. I will also be very happy to meet the president,” the head of the Polish government emphasized.
According to him, “no decision has been made yet on what the presence of President Zelensky will look like” at the meeting, so there is no clear answer on where and when the meeting will take place.
Tusk added that he has a close relationship with Zelensky.
“And when friends invite me, the next day I’m where I’m supposed to be,” summed up the Polish prime minister.
Let’s remember that on December 11, Donald Tusk was elected Prime Minister of Poland. 248 representatives of the Polish Sejm voted in favor, 201 representatives voted against, and no one abstained.
