Starring in major hits of the 2010s, the actor Logan Lerman was responsible for bringing the character Percy Jackson to life in theaters, in the first adaptation of the saga written by the author Rick Riordan.
The two features, however, ended up not being very well accepted by fans of the franchise, as they were very far from the events and characteristics presented in the books. Now, “Percy Jackson” will receive a new adaptation made by Disney+, with its premiere scheduled for December 20th, starring Walker Scobel.

New works
After the first “Percy Jackson” film, released in 2010, Logan starred in another great success of his career, the film “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”. In 2014, she was in “Noé” and, in 2016, in the feature film “Indignação”, an adaptation of the work written by Philip Roth. This was the last production of Lerman before his break, which lasted four years.
The actor’s long-awaited return to the spotlight took place in 2020, through the Amazon Prime Video series “The Hunt”, where Jonah Heidelbaum plays, a young Jewish man who ends up being recruited by Meyer Offerman (Al Pacino) to hunt down Nazis.
Lerman he only returned to the big screen in 2022, for the film “Trem-Bala”, where he shared scenes with the Hollywood star, Brad Pitt. In fact, in an interview with W Magazine, the actor stated that his strong relationship with his co-star was the main reason for accepting the role, and making his return to the cinema.
Current days
At the moment, Logan decided to change sides, and has been working behind the camera, working as an independent film producer. However, during an interview with W Magazine in 2022, the star revealed that, after many years in the industry, he decided that he does not want to follow some standards that he hates in Hollywood and, therefore, ends up not publicizing his new projects as much.
“Often, you look at negotiations and see project announcements, and it’s all in vain. It’s just people trying to draw attention to themselves and the projects aren’t real. And I don’t want to be that guy. I feel like I’m much more relaxed about the things I’m working on. That’s how I like it.”, said the actor.

Since the announcement of the new series inspired by “Percy Jackson”, many people have been curious to know about the opinions of the cast of the films, especially from Logan Lermanwho played the protagonist.
In the year 2022, during a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Lerman stated that he was very excited about the production, and happy to Rick Riordan be in charge of the project.
“I’m very excited. I’m curious to see [a série]. Everything I’ve seen so far, even if from a distance, about the cast and how they’re casting [os atores]and that Rick is commanding [a produção], it makes me very happy. I’m happy for the fans and excited for the new generation that will watch this.”, he revealed.
Regarding possible participation, Logan said that, unfortunately, he is not involved: “I could [estar envolvido no seriado]? Clear. But no, I’m not. […] They haven’t talked to me, they don’t want me in it, I guess. I probably would have listened [um convite] at this point [da produção], but anyway, who cares? It’s amazing what they’re doing and I’m excited to watch them do it.”
