The visit to the United States began with a meeting with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Charles Brown, at the US National Defense University, Zelensky noted.
According to him, the meeting participants discussed challenges to global security, developments at the front and subsequent Ukrainian-American cooperation in the field of defense.
“I am grateful to the United States for implementing our agreements, especially on strengthening air defense, as well as to Secretary Austin and General Brown for their personal leadership,” Zelensky added.
