The show’s producer Kate Horton said Broadway star “The Music Man” Hugh Jackman tested positive on COVID-19 on Monday.
A positive test result came less than a day after Jackman performed with the cast on Sunday at the Tony Awards. Deadline reported. It’s unclear if other cast members also positively joined Jackman on stage.

HuffPost contacted “The Music Man” for further comment.
This is the second time Jackman has fought COVID-19. For each week of recreation. He had to leave performances for the musical to recover from his first encounter with Coronavirus in December 2021.
Jackman’s Max Clayton will play Professor Harold Hill on the show from June 14 to June 21.
“We are glad to hear that [Clayton] “Perform with the wonderful Sutton Foster and wish Hugh a speedy recovery,” Horton wrote.
