In Chernivtsi, law enforcement officers detained a drunk driver of a shuttle bus transporting people. Passengers reported that the driver was drunk. The police press service reported this on Sunday, December 10.
Law enforcement officers received a report that the driver was violating traffic rules on Sunday at approximately 15:00. The bus stops at the bus station on Russkaya Street.
There are passengers inside the bus while stopping. Upon document review, patrol officers discovered that the 59-year-old driver showed signs of intoxication.
The Drager test came back positive at 2.28 ppm, more than 11 times the legal blood alcohol limit.
The driver was removed from driving and a report was made.
