Two women, 67 and 71 years old, died at the scene. A 33-year-old man was taken to a local hospital with injuries.
The National Police reported that at 15.00 there was an artillery shelling of the city of Kupyansk. A private house, garage, fence, and summer kitchen were damaged.
Employees of the investigative and operational group, criminologists and explosives experts urgently went to the address. They inspect the crime scene and document the consequences of the crime.
Investigators are deciding the issue of opening criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
