On Friday, November 8, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in its entirety draft law No. 10262, granting the NAPC such powers. 308 deputies voted for the document. This law was one of the important conditions for the further European integration of Ukraine. People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on Telegram.
The law provides that now the powers of the NACP will not be limited in relation to the verification of assets that have already undergone the verification process. The same applies to the verification of property acquired by declarants before appointment to a civil service position.
Let us remind you that the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption announced the discovery of unsubstantiated assets or signs of illegal enrichment of more than UAH 255 million among the management team of TCC employees.
