In the village of Verbovka, Korosten district, Zhytomyr region, three children died in a fire. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The fire occurred today, December 8, in the afternoon.
“When firefighters arrived at the scene, the house was engulfed in flames. Firefighters from local fire departments from two villages helped put out the fire, but it took about an hour and a half to put it out. remove it. Unfortunately, it was not possible to save the lives of three children aged 2 to 5 years succeeded. The children’s mother, who was born in 1986, received burns,” said the report.
It is reported that the initial cause of the tragedy was a violation of fire safety rules during the operation of heating the stove.
Earlier it was reported that a furniture factory was on fire in the Kyiv region. The fire was extinguished during the night.
