Economic support for Ukraine is one of the main components of security assistance from the United States. “We must work with the Ukrainians to accelerate reforms and support the development of key infrastructure needed to stimulate economic growth and increase exports,” Pritzker said.
According to Penny Pritzker, it is necessary to take into account the Ukrainian industrial potential, including industries such as agriculture, information technology (IT), energy, transport and logistics, as well as defense production.
The Special Representative is convinced that in the future Ukraine will become a sustainable, digital, competitive European country with strong defense potential and capable of defending itself.
It was previously reported that the United States announced a new military aid package to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the amount of $175 million. This includes air defense systems, additional ammunition for HIMARS systems, artillery ammunition, and anti-tank missiles.
It was also learned that Ukraine will receive thousands of tons of metal from the United States to protect energy facilities.
