Two satellites were launched, one of which is the latest smart artificial intelligence satellite, which integrates communication, navigation and real-time remote sensing systems.
On Tuesday, December 5, China’s private space company Galactic Energy launched two new satellites into orbit using its commercial Ceres-1 Y9 launch vehicle, including a spacecraft with artificial intelligence and integrated surveillance and capabilities in communication. CGTN reports.
It was noted that the rocket took off from the cosmodrome Jiuquan in northwest China.
One of the spacecraft launched into low-Earth orbit is the Tianyan-16 meteorological satellite, which is equipped with an updated microwave radiometer and high-speed laser communication module and is capable of continuously studying the meteorological situation on the planet and immediately deliver the results to the control center.
The second is Starpool 01-A, the latest intelligent artificial intelligence satellite that integrates communications, navigation and real-time remote sensing systems.
The current mission is the 11th flight of the Ceres-1 series rockets.
China plans to launch more than 100 devices of this type into space within four years and integrate communication, navigation and remote sensing systems into one system, which will significantly expand the observation area and the efficiency and effectiveness of analysis through the integration of related processes.
Let’s recall that on November 1, China successfully launched into space a new Earth remote sensing satellite of the Tianhui series, known as mapping satellites. The satellite is planned to be used for geographic mapping, research of land resources, scientific experiments and other activities.
