Every soldier and relatives of a soldier who has been awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine posthumously will receive an apartment from the state.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced this today, December 5, in his evening video message.

He noted that today he handed over the first documents for the apartment.
Twenty-one Heroes of Ukraine. Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the State Border Service. Of these twenty-one, nine are fallen heroes,” Zelensky noted.
According to him, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, at least 360 people have received the title of Hero of Ukraine, of which 210 were awarded posthumously.
