At least nine explosions were heard in the sky above the city. The occupiers also blocked traffic on the Kerch Bridge.
On the evening of Tuesday, December 5, a series of explosions was heard in Kerch, east of temporarily occupied Crimea. The occupiers also blocked traffic on the Crimean Bridge.
Residents of Kerch wrote on local public pages that they heard at least nine explosions. Other users noted that the series of explosions was preceded by a sound similar to the flight of martyrs.
Meanwhile, some Telegram channels are reporting that traffic on the Crimean Bridge has been blocked.
The pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel Crimean Wind confirms the explosions in Kerch and suggests that Russian air defenses are operating from Mount Mithridates. Power outages were also reported in parts of the city. There is also no light in the bridge area.
Earlier, satellite images showed that Russia’s defense of the Crimean Bridge was badly damaged by the storm. Most of the barges in front of him from the Black Sea were washed away or flooded.
We remind you that the Crimean Bridge was hit at least twice. In October 2022, a powerful explosion occurred here, causing great destruction. Later, the SBU said it was a special operation. And in July 2023, the Crimean Bridge was successfully attacked by Sea Baby sea drones.
