“The sound of an explosion was heard in the Vinnytsia region, Suspilny correspondents report. An air raid alert was declared in the region,” the message said.
Before this, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported two groups of attack drones in the Vinnytsia region. The department noted that a group in the northern part of the region was moving westward.
The second group of attack UAVs entered the Vinnytsia region from the western part of the Cherkasy region, also heading west.
“As of 01:35, the threat of attack by UAVs remains for Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions,” the Air Force said in a statement.
Official information about the causes or consequences of the explosion has not yet been reported.
Currently, air raid alert is maintained in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky and Ternopil regions.
