The judges are suspected of receiving $35,000 in bribes for lifting the arrest of two planes of the Ukrainian airline Constanta.
One of the planes, according to investigators, was used by the Motor Sich company, whose honorary president was Vyacheslav Boguslaev, suspected of assisting Russia.
According to investigators, Judge Dzyubin was a mediator, the other three judges considered Boguslaev’s case.
Now the prosecutor’s office can submit a petition to the Supreme Court to select a preventive measure for judges.
During the meeting, the SAPO prosecutor Boris Vasilenkov said that Dzyubin received 35 thousand dollars. illegal benefits, of which he kept 10 thousand for himself. He handed over the remaining 25 thousand to judge Igor Palenik in a whiskey box. At the same time, Palenik exchanged 16.6 thousand dollars. for other banknotes and handed them over to colleagues Yuriy Sliva and Viktor Glinyanoy (8.3 thousand each). Sliva’s funds were handed over and veiled as a pack of coffee: “Here I am (Plum) handing you a pack of coffee, very good instant coffee, you once gave it to me and I’m giving it to you.” The transfer of funds to Glinyany was also veiled as if it were an advertising brochure: “A very good Internet provider, you (Glinyany) should use it and read the brochure.”
Dzyubin himself was hospitalized. The defense objected to the presentation and believed that the funds were planted, journalist Oleg Novikov wrote about today’s PSA meeting.
