A Russian mortar shell hit a garage where a 78-year-old local resident was located.
As a result of an enemy mortar attack on a village in the Kherson region, one man was killed. The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on December 3.
It was learned that the attack happened around 11:20.
“As a result of the shooting, a 78-year-old local resident died. The man received non-life-threatening injuries while in his own garage. The shell directly hit the construction site. Information about other victim is clarified,” the prosecutors emphasized.
According to the head of the military administration of the city of Kherson, Roman Mrochko, the village of Sadovoe was damaged from the temporarily occupied left bank.
A pre-trial investigation was launched into violation of the laws and customs of war, including premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
