The Russian command has repeatedly warned the occupiers in Ukraine about the dangers of using social networks and the Internet in combat positions. However, the invaders ignore orders. As a result, all enemy correspondence is intercepted by the Ukrainian military. This is stated in the new code of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
WhatsApp and other messages sent by the Russian military are captured by Ukrainian intercepts, including documents, screenshots of conversations and media files, analysts say.
ISW emphasized that the Russian command stated that it was allegedly because of the use of smartphones that the Armed Forces of Ukraine dealt a crushing blow to the area where the Russian army was concentrated in Makeyevka, Donetsk region, on the eve of the New Year 2023.
Let us recall that the American Institute for the Study of War stated that Russian field commanders are selling private military companies to mobilized Russian citizens. The cost of one “fighter” is estimated at several hundred dollars.
