The bulk of gas from Ukrainian storage facilities was exported to Slovakia – 14.3 million cubic meters, to Poland – 12.6 million cubic meters. m and in Moldova – 5 million cubic meters. m.
Re-exports of natural gas stored in Ukrainian underground storage facilities in “customs warehouse” mode reached 31.9 million cubic meters per day on December 1. This is the highest daily re-export ever value recorded. ExPro reported it.

The volumes of natural gas exports from the “customs warehouse” of Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities in November 2023 reached 281.5 million cubic meters. Compared to October, the export volume increased 26 times. This is also the highest export value in the last two years since December 2021.
It was noted that the bulk of gas in November was exported to Poland – 142.5 million cubic meters, or 51% of the total volume, to Moldova – 85.8 million cubic meters. m, or 30%, in Slovakia – 51.6 million cubic meters. m, or 18.4%, and in Hungary – 1.7 million cubic meters. m, or 0.6%.
Reportedly, the increase in gas exports from the “customs warehouse” is associated with the beginning of the heating season both in Ukraine and in Europe. Companies that pumped gas into Ukraine in recent months exported it back to Europe in November. High gas prices, which remained in the European market in November, also contributed to the growth of export volumes.
As of November 30, 3.12 billion cubic meters of natural gas were stored in the “customs warehouse” of Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities, which is almost twice as much as last year. Gas re-export volumes are expected to remain at high levels in December.
Earlier it was reported that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed an order on the further ban on gas exports. The Cabinet of Ministers must take steps to fix the issue of establishing a zero quota for the export of natural gas of Ukrainian origin in 2024.
We remind you that two more gas wells with a total daily flow rate of 500 thousand cubic meters have started operating in Ukraine. One of the wells is exploratory, and the other is production in a gas field that is over 50 years old.
