As a result, three people were injured, the press service of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office reports.
The target of the Russian troops was a residential area, the prosecutor’s office notes.
Three civilians were injured as a result of the shelling:
- 86-year-old woman;
- two men aged 63 and 34 years.
They were taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds. The 34-year-old victim is in serious condition.
Multi-storey residential buildings were also damaged by the explosions.
A pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings for violation of the laws and customs of war is being carried out (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).
