Persons will be added to this list on the basis of a court indictment. The database will include: last name, first name, date of birth, place of residence and the crime for which the person was convicted. They will also add information about criminal penalties there. The Office of the Prosecutor General announced this on November 29 on Telegram
This register will include not only persons convicted of sexual crimes against children, but also citizens whose criminal records have been cleared or expunged in accordance with the procedure established by law. The list included 600 child abusers. There are even people who committed crimes before the creation of the registry.
According to law enforcement officers, this resource should be a preventative against repeated crimes against the sexual integrity of children.
Access to the register of pedophiles will be open not only to law enforcement officers, but also to directors of schools, kindergartens, heads of state administrations and chairmen of local governments.
Thanks to this opportunity, they will be able to protect children from contact with persons who have committed criminal offenses on sexual grounds. And as a consequence in the future – the prevention of crime in relation to minors and minors,” noted the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Let us recall that the Center for National Resistance reported that the occupation administrations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were instructed to prepare new lists of children without guardianship, with a view to their further deportation to Russia.
