The Russians approximately doubled the number of artillery shelling and airstrikes in the direction of Avdeevsky.
Russian troops in the direction of Avdeevsky intensified the offensive operations, and after a certain “calm” due to bad weather, they significantly intensified the shelling from yesterday. The spokesman of the United Press Center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Alexander Shtupun, spoke about this in the telethon.
“After a slight decrease in the use of drones, artillery and aircraft caused by worsening weather conditions, yesterday the enemy significantly increased the number of shelling and airstrikes by approximately two times,” he said.
The Russians are also recording an intensification of infantry ground attacks in this sector of the front. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces, repelling the attacks, destroyed a lot of Russian armored military equipment.
“In places (the enemy – ed.) uses armored vehicles, which our soldiers burn,” said Shtupun.
We remind you that the Ukrainian military defeated a column of Russian invaders near Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. Corresponding footage of the destroyed column of Russian troops was published by journalist Yuri Butusov. In the published footage you can see the scale of the Russian Army’s losses in manpower. Remnants of tanks, howitzers and other enemy military equipment can be seen.
According to the General Staff, in the past 24 hours, 73 military clashes took place on the front. Russian troops carried out three missile and 13 air strikes, carried out eight attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.
