After a certain so-called lull caused by difficult weather conditions, the enemy significantly increased artillery shelling and air strikes. The speaker of the United Press Center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Alexander Shtupun, announced this on November 29 on the air of the national telethon.
According to him, near Avdeevka, the Russians increased the number of attacks involving infantry. In some places the enemy uses armored vehicles, but most of them are destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that during the current day, 73 military clashes took place. On Kupyansky, the Defense Forces repelled six attacks, and on Limansky they stopped 15 Russian assaults. In the Avdeevsky direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out unsuccessful assault operations, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 20 attacks. Another six attacks were repulsed in the Maryinsky direction, and two in the Shakhtarsky direction.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried five times to restore the lost position at Robotinoy, and to the west of Verbovoy, five attacks of the invaders were repulsed.
Let us remind you that fierce fighting continues in the industrial zone of Avdeevka, and the enemy is tormenting us around the clock. At the same time, the defense of the city is complicated by bad weather – gusty winds and frosty weather.
