The Przemysl police said that law enforcement officers are at the scene, the protests are taking place peacefully, and their initiators do not hide that this is a response to the blocking of Ukrainian trucks by Polish carriers.
Poland’s new Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anna Gembicka, was scheduled to meet with Polish carriers at the border in Medice on Tuesday evening.
As you know, since November 6, at three border crossing points between Poland and Ukraine, a protest has been taking place by Polish carriers, allowing several vehicles per hour. Last week, a blockade began on another checkpoint – Medika-Shegini.
On Monday, the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure reported that it had approached Ukraine with a proposal to resolve the situation with the blockade on the border.
On the morning of November 28, 2,700 Ukrainian trucks remained in queues at the Polish border.
