Near the border town of Medica, massive traffic jams formed in response to Ukrainian truckers who began blocking the road.
Ukrainian drivers in Poland on Tuesday, November 28, blocked the road in response to a protest by Polish drivers, RMF FM reports.
It was learned that a massive traffic jam was formed at the entrance to Medica border town on Tuesday. According to the publication, the reason was the blocking of the roads, which – in response to the protest of Polish drivers – was organized by drivers from Ukraine.
RMF FM reported that one of the protests took place at a roundabout. Lech Kaczynski in Przemysl on the eastern outskirts of the city. There is state road no. 28 towards the border crossing in Medika.
According to law enforcement, a group of about 30 people from time to time – for several minutes or longer – entered the pedestrian crossings, blocking traffic.
The Medica protest itself followed the same scenario. The drivers took the same national highway.
We remind you that since November 6, on the Ukrainian-Polish border, due to a strike, the movement of trucks at checkpoints Krakovets – Korcheva, Rava-Russkaya – Grebennoye and Yagodin – Dorogusk has been difficult. There are thousands of trucks in the queue. On November 23, strikers blocked a fourth checkpoint, Shegini, for trucks. Polish carriers demand the abolition of the visa-free transport regime for Ukraine.
