Stormy winds could cut off life support in 15 regions of Russia

In many regions of Russia, including the capital of the country, unprecedented bad weather is raging. The Russian media published pictures of the terrible consequences of storms and typhoons.

Hurricane winds of up to 30 m/s could disrupt life support in 15 regions of Russia. The All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations warned about this, writes the Russian agency RIA Novosti.

Significant problems are predicted in the regions of Krasnodar, Stavropol, Krasnoyarsk, Kamchatka, Adygea, North Ossetia, Crimea, Rostov, Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov, Chelyabinsk, Magadan, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, as well as in the north of the great Kuril islands chains.

It was previously reported that bad weather was ravaging Moscow and the Moscow region. The governor of the Moscow region, Vorobiev, said the snowfall that continued there was the heaviest in Moscow and the region in the past 40 years.

On the Russian Kamchatka Peninsula, the sea overflowed its banks and flooded the airport. The Bering Sea flooded the airport in the administrative center of Olyutorsky district.
