Most of the enemy attacks of the Ukrainian defenders were repelled in the direction of Bakhmut and Avdeevsky.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published operational information about the Russian invasion on Tuesday morning, November 28.
“In the past 24 hours, 84 military clashes took place. In total, the enemy launched 1 missile and 8 air strikes, carried out 20 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated area. During these 24 hours, the Russian invaders launched an air strike on Ukraine, using 1 strike UAV type Shahed-136/131, the enemy drone was destroyed. As a result of attack by Russian terrorists, unfortunately, there were casualties among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged,” the General Staff said in a morning report.
Stepovaya-Novoselovka, Kharkov region, received air strikes; Novomikhailovka, Konstantinovka, Novoukrainka, Donetsk region. More than 130 settlements in Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.
In the direction of Kupyansk, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Sinkovka and Petropavlovka in the Kharkov region. The defense forces repelled three attacks.
In the direction of Liman, the enemy carried out offensive operations in the areas of Stelmakhovka, Serebryansky forestry in the Luhansk region and Ternov, Yampolevka, Torskoye in the Donetsk region; Ukrainian fighters repelled 12 attacks.
In the Bakhmut direction, our defenders repelled 28 enemy attacks near Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky, Kleshchievka and Andreevka, Donetsk region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations in the south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, causing losses to the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their position on the achieved lines.
In the direction of Avdeevka, the enemy does not abandon attempts to surround Avdeevka. The enemy’s offensive actions were unsuccessful in the east of Novobakhmutovka, northeast of Berdichev, Avdeevka, Oprosnoye, Severny and south of the Tonenky Donetsk region, where the Defense Forces repelled 23 attacks.
In the Maryinsky direction, the invaders carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Maryinka and Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk region. The Defense Forces repelled nine attacks.
In the direction of Shakhtarsky, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
In the direction of Zaporozhye, the invaders unsuccessfully tried three times to restore the lost position near Rabotino and Novoprokopka, Zaporozhye region.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive operation in the direction of Melitopol, causing losses to the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
In the direction of Kherson, our soldiers held their positions on the left bank of the Dnieper, engaged in counter-battery combat, and fired at the rear of the enemy.
Missile forces units carried out attacks on the control point and three areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.
Earlier it was reported that “Wagnerites” appeared near Kupyansk. They were involved in the attacks, said the commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel General Alexander Syrsky.
