In the Odessa region, heavy snowfall caused ice to form on the roads. Therefore, traffic is limited on the two highways, the Regional Infrastructure Development Restoration Service reported on Facebook on Sunday, November 26.

“Traffic is temporarily blocked for heavy vehicles due to worsening weather conditions (heavy snow, strong winds and ice) to ensure efficient operation of snow removal equipment and prevent road accidents and traffic,” the message said.
The restrictions were introduced at 8:30 a.m. and will remain in effect for at least 12 hours.
The Odessa City Council warned of icy conditions on the highways of Kiev and Tiraspol, as well as on Shkodova Mountain. Utility workers pave the roads.
According to weather forecasters, snowstorms, sleet and gusty winds of up to 25-30 m/s are expected today in the Odessa region.
Footage has been published online showing that the region is actively covered in snow, especially the Izmail region.
Earlier, the State Emergency Service called on Ukrainians to stay at home over the weekend. Forecasters predict a significant complication of weather conditions for November 26-27 in almost the entire territory of Ukraine, except for the western regions.
